Last One Out by Stuck in Customs

When I was at the Grand Mosque here in Muscat, I asked if I could be the very last tourist to leave. The whole place was very busy, but I wanted to have less people around… I think with just a few people here and there you get a tremendous sense of the scale of the place. You also get an idea of how shiny the floor is!

Van City Sunrise by David Gn Photography

Captured this with four RAW shots. Used Photomerge in Photoshop CS6 to create this panorama. I increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. 1 layer mask in soft light mode at 50% gray, using brush tool to lighten and darken some areas of the image, to bring out details. Topaz DeNoise to reduce noise. Topaz Clarity for additional boost in color and contrast.

Vancouver British Columbia Skyline During Sunrise Panorama. Have been away for a few days to beautiful Vancouver BC. Weather was nice and got some great shots of the city. Joe McLaughlin came along for the ride. Also met up with Mikul Culver. Still the same awesome guy we met up with the last time we were up there. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

The Stand of Pine Trees in a River of Clouds at Barog Valley, India by Anoop Negi

Another take from the same shoot as the last one with a slightly different perspective
The foreground has a stand of tall coniferous trees while a settlement of a few houses glints in the morning sunshine through the fleecy thick cover of clouds.

Barog is a mountain at the cusp of the Himalayas and the older Aravalis and is a formidable barrier to the interior Himalayas. The place is named after Colonel Barog,an engineer from England who was supposed to get the longest tunnel made through the mountains but the two tunnels did not align properly. Sadly that led to a bout of self depreciation for Col Barog who one misty day put a gun to his head.
